Team Reed 5K

What an amazing day Saturday was!! I am sure that anyone has fears about events like this and going into the day I knew we had lots of people sign up but I still had that fear that not many would show up.  The weather was a worry also but the rain held off and the morning was cool but good running/walking weather.  I can not thank Jamie enough she did an amazing job, from collecting all the registration information, to ordering t shirts and handing them out, to getting water/bananas/cinnamon rolls.  We need to thank her husband Scott and my dad also for getting up early Saturday morning and mapping out the route, with signs and spray paint.  Also a big thanks to Average Joe's for donating prizes, Wal Mart for donating gift cards and Rach's Kitchen for donating cinnamon rolls. 

We had just over 200 run/walkers which we were blown away by. Thank you all that came out and supported Reed, supported our family and joined us for this event we can not thank you enough for all the amazing people in our lives that took time out of your day and spent it with us.  It was such a FUN DAY!!
